As International Weeks são oportunidades de mobilidade que têm como destinatários docentes e não docentes, incluindo normalmente um conjunto de atividades de natureza cultural e científica, estruturadas num programa previamente definido.

This International Staff Week is open to administrative and academic staff from partner universities. The initiative seeks to strengthen institutional capacities, enhance intercultural and professional skills, and promote sustainable strategic cooperation among higher education institutions.
The programme is designed as an integrated professional development experience that combines specialised training, institutional exchange, and cultural immersion, fostering both professional excellence and meaningful intercultural engagement. Key activities will include::
- Specialised workshops on the drafting, management, and evaluation of Erasmus+ and international cooperation projects;
- Practical sessions aimed at increasing the quality, competitiveness, and success rate of project proposals;
- An Intercultural Training Session developed in cooperation with the ERUA Alliance
- A Spanish as a Second Language (L2) course, focused on linguistic and intercultural competence development;
- Institutional visits, including a visit to the Banco Español de Algas (Spanish Bank of Algae), a leading research centre in marine biotechnology and sustainability and the Oceanic Platform of the Canary Islands (PLOCAN);
- Sustainable cultural and leisure activities designed to introduce participants to the island of Gran Canaria, promoting responsible tourism, environmental awareness, and local heritage;
- Structured networking activities to encourage long-term inter-institutional partnerships.
Online registration will remain open until full capacity is reached and, in any case, no later than 20 March 2026. Only complete applications will be considered.
Applicants must submit:
- A duly completed and signed Erasmus+ Staff Mobility Agreement for Training (STT),
- Proof of private health insurance valid for the duration of the stay.

Our Erasmus International Week targets administrative staff members from WUT’s partner universities interested in knowing more about us, as well as exploring the challenges and opportunities of the Erasmus Programme and the process of internationalization in the field of higher education in Europe and worldwide.
The schedule of the week includes, but is not limited to: presentation of West University of Timisoara and the European Alliance UNITA, mutual learning workshop on current trends and issues in the internationalization of Higher Education, world cafe on dilemmas when working in the field of international relations and beyond, introductory course in intercomprehension among Romance languages, job shadowing sessions, networking events (welcome lunch, welcome dinner, city tour, coffee breaks, farewell dinner etc).
During the time spent together in a former European capital of culture and the largest city in Western Romania, we look forward to sharing good practices and growing together under the umbrella "internationalisation with and for all"

The initiative is bringing together students, higher educational professionals and administrative staff to explore the concept of Ur-Architecture - the original and essential act of building in response to the fundamental human need for shelter, reaffirming the core construction principles through contemporary and international perspective.
Through academic sessions, hands-on workshops, and collaborative activities, participants will reflect on sustainability, cultural context, and the evolution of architectural practice. A visit to significant sites highlighting Bulgaria’s rich architectural heritage will further extend the experience.
Inspired by the principle “mens sana in corpore sano”, participants will also take part in the annual marathon “Students Run with UACEG.” This co-shared experience offers the opportunity to engage with the city and its architecture through movement. Encountering the built environment at a human scale and reinforcing the connection between body, mind and space, it reflects the Back2 Basics concept, where old knowledge incorporates new perspective on education, practice and resilience.
