Maria João Guardado Moreira, Lucinda Carvalho e Vítor Pinheira, docentes das escolas superiores de Educação e de Saúde Dr. Lopes Dias do IPCB e investigadores integrados da Age.Comm - Unidade de Investigação Interdisciplinar - Comunidades Envelhecidas Funcionais do IPCB, participaram no 26th Nordic Congress of Gerontology, realizado em Odense (Dinamarca).Os docentes apresentaram 7 trabalhos de investigação na área do envelhecimento (comunicação oral e posters), resultado da atividade de docentes e alunos do IPCB, tendo sido a única representação portuguesa no evento, onde foram apresentados cerca de 260 trabalhos.
Os trabalhos resultam de projetos de investigação realizados por investigadores da Age.Comm (Training program for formal and informal caregivers: CT4SILVERCAREGIVERS Project; Characterization of the profile, perception of needs and expectations of the people aged 80 and over in Portugal; Residence preferences after retirement in rural and urban settings; Relationship between isolation, aging and sleep disorders: narrative review), resultados de dois trabalhos finais de alunos do mestrado em Gerontologia Social do IPCB e integrados no projeto de investigação PerSoParAge (Relationship between perceived health and access to health care for the elderly and future elderly in a region in the interior of Portugal; When you are elderly, where would you like to live?) e trabalhos desenvolvidos por alunos da licenciatura de Fisioterapia do IPCB (Relationship between oxygen saturation, functional mobility, physical activity, chronic pain and quality of life of older people during pandemic period).
