Tarefas
Main Tasks:
- Propose and develop novel radio frequency interference (RFI) mitigation techniques
- Implement RFI removal methods in hardware/software in close collaboration with both scientific and hardware teams
- Develop backend user interface
Key Skills:
- The ideal candidate has a university degree and a solid understanding of signal analysis and processing. Strong computer programming and good interpersonal skills are required. At least 2+ years of work experience beyond your university degree is another requirement.
- Experience with simulations in Matlab and/or C
- Experience in programming GPUs (nVidia/AMD) and high performance computing.
- Experience in astronomical signal processing is preferred, but not necessary.
A working knowledge of one or more of the following would be an advantage:
- VHDL/Verilog programming skills
- Graphic user-interfaces using Python
- Being prepared to eventually communicate with the group’s engineers and technicians in German language.
